What Is Concealer?
Concealer is a makeup product designed to conceal or cover various skin imperfections, creating a smoother, more even complexion. Concealer can be used for covering dark circles under the eyes, redness, acne scars, pimples, skin blemishes, and rosacea. Uneven skin tones can also be covered and evened out with the use of concealer. Concealer can also be used for highlighting and contouring specific areas of the face to create shadows and define features like the jawline, cheekbones, and nose. The coverage of concealer can vary from minimal coverage to full-coverage. Full coverage, highly pigmented concealers can be used to cover harder spots like tattoos, birthmarks, or extreme redness. People can enhance their beauty and boost their confidence with the use of the right concealer and concealer brush.

How Do Concealer Brushes Work?
Otis Batterbee’s Concealer Brush Duo contains the 112 and 113 concealer brushes. The 112 concealer brush helps to work product over the face and, under and around the eyes. The 113 brush size is for smaller areas that need precise blending. As a duo, these two brushes are ideal for achieving a flawless, even texture with the unique developed bristles. These brushes are a must-have tool for beauty lovers.
The concealer brushes work by allowing precise application, providing even coverage by having densely packed bristles, smooth blending of the edges, hygienic application, and by providing an airbrushed finish. To correctly use the concealer brushes, you must first find the right concealer colour for your skin tone, then apply to the necessary areas, and blend using Otis Batterbee’s Concealer Brush Duo. You can achieve expert results by using these professional-grade concealer brushes.
How Should I Apply Under-Eye Concealer?
We asked Otis for his pro-tips on applying under-eye concealer using the 112 Concealer Brush and he goes:
“Having the right brushes for concealer application really makes a big difference. The trick to applying concealer with my 112 Concealer Brush is to use really only a small amount of concealer, start in the inner corner of the eye where there is typically the most darkness, applying your concealer with a sort of stamping motion, like your stencilling! Too much concealer under your eyes will crease really easily and accentuate dry skin – not a good look! Also use the 113 Concealer Brush to blend across the nose and if you want to spot-conceal any areas such as blemishes over the face.”
Washing Your Concealer Brushes
The Concealer Brush Duo 112 & 113 brushes like to be washed in lukewarm water. Do not soak them. For best results, wash the top of the brush with makeup brush cleaner, shampoo, or facewash.
Drying Your Concealer Brushes
After washing, leave your Concealer Duo Brushes to dry over your counter or sink edge. You do not want water to run inside the metal section.
